- For the boys to sleep past 7 a.m. each day.
- Stanley Steemer to make a visit.
- Home-cooked meals cooked by someone else.
- Patience.
- More patience.
- The warmest socks money can buy. (When I googled this, here's what came up. I was surprised their socks were so relatively affordable.)
- A refrigerator always stocked with half-and-half. (There is nothing more disappointing than making a fresh cup of coffee only to find that you've run out of half-and-half.)
- A pantry always stocked with coffee to go with the half-and-half.
- The technology to create an actual sound-proof dome like the one I tell the kids is lowering around me when I feel overwhelmed by their incessant chatter. (Especially when I'm composing a blog post.)
- In place of that, earplugs.
- A time clock I can punch at exactly 8 p.m. each evening to signal I am off and cannot be bothered until 7 a.m. the next day.
- A car seat warmer.
- One day to live like Lady Sybil on Downton Abbey.
- The next day to live like Lady Mary.
- The following day, live just like myself.
- A date night with Husband.
- Snow on Christmas.
- A quiet Christmas holiday.
- Mindfulness.
Peace to you and your family this holiday season.

It all sounds wonderful!
This is a great list, Tonya. First of all -- Downton Abbey!!! I cannot wait! We don't have cable so I am trying to figure out how we are going to watch it, without doing anything illegal ;) Also, I'm 100% with you on the half and half. I will never be a black coffee person. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Great list! Merry Christmas!!
Oh, I love this list!! Especially the socks....and the Downton Abbey days!
I was lucky enough to attend a sneak peek and have seen the first half of the January 6th episode...we are all in for a real treat!!!
Hugs to you, I hope you get some good time off!
