Snowtober Aftermath

Electricity is back!  Whoo hoo!  Kids are back in school.  Life is slowly returning to normal.

I took some photos this morning around my neighborhood and yard.  During the height of the storm, I had a camera malfunction, so these photos don't quite show the full extent of the damage, since many of the downed branches have been cleared.

The limb held the rope to our beloved swing crashed to the ground!

It's been an interesting four days living without power.  I'll tell you about it soon!

I'm so glad to hear you have your power back. I can't believe it was out for so long. I hope you were able to stay warm (and get a shower somewhere!).

Snow! I'm not ready for it yet! Glad to hear that your power is up and running. Have a warm weekend!

Isn't it nice when life finally gets back to normal? Tara only had 1 day of school this week (she only goes 3 days). It's only October & we probably have more power outages to come. We still have lots of trees down in our town too.

Wow! Four days, that is quite impressive. Glad to hear the power is back on! And what a time for a camera malfunction!

Wow! Glad things are returning back to normal for you... although I always have secretly (or not) loved the snowed-in days!
